The function of the building as Living & Commercial Space, makes the privacy issue as a major problem at VERTILAN. On the other hand, the need for social interaction is very necessary to create a comfortable atmosphere when living together in one building. In response to this, the building will be designed to have connectivity between areas (connecting space) so that it can facilitate interaction between building occupants and can limit the zones that intersect with public activities.

The mass of each floor is crossed, to create a visual connection between spaces and can be used as a green area and a relaxing area for each occupant of the building. In addition, the building mass consists of boxes arranged back and forth dynamically with geometry trick to give depth accent to the building character. Also, another point is, the building façade material uses semi-transparent material to present the impression of dynamism at different times, during the daytime looks more passive, at night the building looks more active, like a lantern that reveals the greening or the activities behind the facade of the building.
